For those of us who weren't fortunate enough to fly to France this month, the internet abounds with photos and videos of Cillian as he attends this year's Cannes Film Festival to promote Broken. Catch an in-depth backstage glance of the screening of Broken at the festival with both photos and video of Cillian, director Rufus Norris, and the remaining cast at Semaine de la Critique Cannes 2012 here. Unfortunately, our first review of Broken by Indiewire's The Playlist is less than favorable calling the film "over the top" and saying it "can't get it together." To read the full review, click here. The UK's Guardian called the film "often strained and self-conscious." However, theartsdesk.com had a slightly more favorable review here. Regardless of initial reviews, this reporter will be lined up first to see Broken when it hits state-side.
