First review of Misterman

Misterman Onstage

The Irish Times has given us our first real look at Misterman, currently running now through July 24th in Galway, Ireland. In this adaptation of Enda Walsh's 1999 Misterman, Cillian plays the "isolated and vengeful" Thomas Magill, an incredibly complex character positioned somewhere between raving madman and God.

Cillian's sold-out performance is being hailed as "brilliant" and "virtuoso", though we hardly expected less! Read the entire review here or here, and for those of you fortunate enough to attend, please send us your own review!

An absolutely breathtaking performance from Cillian Murphy last night at The Blackbox. His timing was impeccable. He held the audience for every second of the performance. I was blown away.

I was in the front row of Misterman on Sunday, the 10th August.
I knew Cillian was a good actor, but until I saw him perform this play not 6ft away from me, I did not understand the breadth and range of his talent.
He mesmerised me, he blew me away.
For 1.30hrs he had us riveted. His sheer energy amazed me.
I am in awe!

Reading all the raving reviews on Misterman is fantastic yet not surprising, CIllian is amazing on stage. It'd be even sweeter if Cillian brought this to the US. Why not Broadway?!
