Cillian and Enda Walsh reunite

Misterman

Cillian returns to the stage at this year's Galway Arts Festival in Misterman, a new play by Enda Walsh, who wrote the much-acclaimed Disco Pigs. That groundbreaking production was Cillian's first real transition into acting; as he's put it, "I didn't so much audition as pester them for it." Cillian's portrayal of Pig in both the stage and film versions of Disco Pigs is credited for launching his career. Misterman, which runs from July 11 through 24, is being described as a darkly funny tale of one man's judgement day. You can read more details about it from the Irish Times, in our Feature Stories section, and watch a teaser for it here. Anyone going to Galway? Send us a review of the play!

Thanks for the info, Suzanne!

How does one see a play though, if she can't be there? Do they record plays ever, and put them online? Surely there must be a way!

This question goes to anyone.Does anyone feel like Cillian Murphy isn't reconized like he should be,or that he is an amazing actor that should NOT be reffered to as that guy from batman or that guy from red, because he isnt that guy hes THE most amazing actor ever that totally deserves an oscar!right!??

Another fascinating project for Cillian. I would love to see him once again on stage but Galway is out of my reach. :(
