Retreat filmed in Wales

The BBC reports that Cillian, Thandie Newton and Jamie Bell were spotted at Plas Llandecwyn, a remote farmhouse near Talsarnau, Harlech, filming The Retreat. The farmhouse, which will double up as a secluded island is a beautiful old, manor house in the Welsh countryside. You can see a photo of the hideaway and read more about filming of Retreat on BBC.com, which reports a release date of December 2011 for Retreat. You can also see a colorful close-up of the house, along with a video article about the movie on Jamie Bell's fansite, plus more storyboards and reflections on the filming wrapping up. Lastly, one lucky film reviewer, R. Beames, had the rare opportunity to visit the set and meet all three cast members, as well as the director of the film. Read all about it and see a picture of the farmhouse as movie set on his blog. We've also added a photo from the movie to our Production Stills gallery.

Cillian turns on the Red Lights

Rumor has it that Cillian has joined the likes of Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver in the thriller Red Lights by director Rodrigo Cortes. It's still unclear what Cillian's role will be, but MovieMuser.com guesses that he will play assistant to Weaver's para-psychologist character, and a teaser poster revealed by ShockTillYouDrop.com gives Cillian top billing! Filming is set to begin filming in Spain and Canada in February 2011.

I admire Cillian Murphy too. He is a great actor. I'm gonna check this out. He really did well in Inception.
