Cahir O'Doherty from IrishCentral.com recently interviewed Cillian about his role in the newly-released film Inception, calling Cillian "captivating" and the film as being "dark" and a "surprisingly thoughtful thriller". Cillian talks about his relationship with director Christopher Nolan and how Nolan delves deep into the storyline and characters to create a mind-bending tale that has Cillian starring as the mark of the movie.
Cillian also mentions Brendan Gleeson's upcoming project which is an adaptation of Flann O'Brien's At Swim Two Birds, which could see Cillian starring alongside Colin Farrell and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. According to Cillian, Gleeson is in the process of gathering money to support the project and says that "...there's a huge amount of good will toward the film and all of the actors are very much attached and engaged in it."
O'Doherty also brings up a rather amusing topic with Cillian, that of An Post (the Irish Postal Service) putting Cillian's face on a postage stamp. He remarks that it was a nice gesture, but his grandmother was more excited than he was. Well, that's Cillian for us, I suppose :) You can check out the interview in its entirety here.
