Recession hits The CillianSite

Bet you didn't foresee the global economic meltdown zapping The CillianSite. Well, unfortunately, there are currently only two members of The CillianSite Collective, and both of their job situations have been impacted by the financial crisis, leaving them far less free time to blog and update this fan site. Cillian Murphy news is a little slow right now, but new movies are coming, and we're not sure when we'll be able to blog breaking news with the rapid response that our readers have come to expect.

We may return soon, or we may alter our blogging style—or perhaps we'll find some helping hands for news and image gathering. At the moment we're taking a wait-and-see attitude, so we wanted to let everyone know. But don't worry: for the foreseeable future, the site will stay up, and we will still answer emails.

Hola soy Liz, de Argentina.No tengo ni idea de como es esto de la tecnologia, llamese internet, pero ago lo que puedo,tanpoco creo que puedas llegar a leer esto cillian, jejej que locura!!!. de cualquier forma me gustaria decirte desde este lugar tan remoto y olvidadado, pero tambien muy golpeado. Aunque es algo, que de seguro sabes o te lo an dicho muchas veces pero aparte de tener cierto atractivo fisico, creo que sos un ser inteligente, y que conjuntamente con tu lugar socioeconomico sos capaz de utilizarlo para lograr grandes cosas, y grandes ideologias para alludar a esta humanidad, desde ya te doy gracias por alludar, siempre digo que uno predica con el ejemplo.

Thanks, Rose, and you're welcome! It's nice to hear from you. We're going to have to see what happens; as you note, it does take a lot of time to keep the site updated. And it actually takes a lot of time to bring new staff up to speed. But Alyssa and anyone else who's interested should email us about potentially getting involved. Thanks!

I very much appreciate the sheer amount of work and effort it takes to keep up the website. Cilliansite is fantastic! You really keep me well-informed on Cillian Murphy and it feels good to be among a commmunity of people who feel the same way about the man and his craft. Do what you can. I am sure I speak for the many when I say THANK YOU for all your hard work.
