Bounty's plot, co-star Brendan Gleeson

Number 9 Films has posted the plot synopsis for Perrier's Bounty on their website, describing the film as a "darkly comic rollercoaster ride of a crime drama."

Petty criminal Michael has borrowed money from Dublin gangster Perrier, whose henchmen are aching to collect the debt. Unwittingly interrupting Perrier's goons whilst they are beating Michael, his recently dumped and emotionally unstable friend Brenda accidentally shoots one of them dead. With a bounty on their heads Brenda and Michael are forced to go on the run, only to find themselves unexpectedly joined by Michael's long-estranged father Jim. The unlikely trio ... dodge Perrier, bounty-hunters and the police as Michael tries to save his own life, protect an increasingly suicidal Brenda, and deal with Jim's absurdist anxiety that he will die the next time he falls asleep.

In addition to Cillian and Jim Broadbent, Number 9 Films reveals a third cast member: Brendan Gleeson, yet another talented actor who will unquestionably add to both the humor and realism of the film. It's interesting to note that if the project makes it through production, this will be the fifth movie that Cillian has acted in alongside Brendan Gleeson. It is unknown if Brendan will play Michael's father Jim or the dangerous Perrier, as the production company only specifies that Cillian "is attached to play Michael."

Im realy happy to know that Jim and Brendan will be alongside of Cillian Murphy on Perrier's Bounty. I think Im a true Harry Potter fan, and seeing them with Cillian makes me even MORE HAPPY! Im in shock, im happy, im just....wow! Brendan and Cillian have acted together 4 times, with this one 5. Is like Dan and Brendan, like 4 times too. I love this people! I realy cant wait! CILLIAN WITH THE COSTARS OF POTTER: A MASTERPIECE!

Ha, ha, ha!!! "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Bruges--I like that. I love Brendan Gleeson more--not as much as I love Cillian, but Brendan would definitely be number two on my list.

oh is this project going to go forward after all? I thought I remember reading that James McAvoy was taking over the role (although that wouldn't be bad either!) I wonder who is going to play Brenda?
