International Edge release dates + site additions

More countries to see Edge of Love

Theatrical release dates for The Edge of Love have been posted for a handful of countries. Still, not even a whisper of a date has been mentioned for North America. The current 2008 dates are:

Many new photos and articles

While there's a lull in Cillian news, we've been using our free time to add quite a few new photos, articles, and reviews to the site. The July 2008 Harper's Bazaar U.K. feature article has been archived and the spread and photo added to the gallery. A few production stills and five film reviews for Edge have been added as well.

Since Watching the Detectives was released on DVD in Canada this past Tuesday, we've added screen captures for the entire film as well as ten new production stills included in the DVD extras.

Last, but in no way least, we've added a small portrait photo of unknown origin and ten long overdue, exquisite close-ups to the photoshoot gallery.

The U.S. version of the "Watching the Detectives" DVD does not have any extras (other than the trailer), and no easter eggs, either (at least that I could find). The production stills that have been posted here are from the Canadian version of the DVD.

What DVD extras? Amazon and the DVD sleeve list zippo-nil. Are there easter eggs lurking in the wings? Different DVD versions for the US/Canada/UK markets...?

Cillian is not the one singing or playing the guitar in the "rockstar scene." He's just lip-syncing and pretending to play along with the recorded version of the song "Speaking in Tongues" by the Eagles of Death Metal.

Can anyone confirm if that was really him playing the guitar/singing in the rock star scene?

He cried in the movie Intermission because he missed his girlfriend. They had broken up, but he still loved her.

I bought my copy of 'WTD' yesterday and rushed home to watch it. I expected so much worse and am surprised to say I actually liked it. It never would have survived wide release (I just don't think Lucy Liu is leading woman material) but as a showcase of what CM can do with light comedy I found it wonderful.

Do you think its possible that The Edge of Love would come to the Toronto Film Fest. I am hoping because I live so close to the city. I think the list of films will be out next week.

i think i'm crazy. I had a dream that Cillian and his family were staying the the same hotel room as my family and he gave me a birthday present and i was trying to write a letter to him so that i could ask him to be my pen pal. then there was horrible thunder and lightning and i woke up don't you hate when dreams are horribly real?
