Inception's inception

ScreenCrave.com has the news from Japan: Inception has started filming there. No sign of Cillian, but director Christopher Nolan, star Leonardo DiCaprio and villain Ken Watanabe just appeared in the Japanese press and have apparently begun production.

According to the The Calgary Sun, Inception will also shoot in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada and in three other countries. The film looks to be one of next year's summer blockbusters, with a U.S. release date already set for 16 July 2010 (and several other countries already set too) and a budget of $200 million. So let's hope for photo confirmation of Cillian's participation soon—he needs this movie!

Things have loosened up in my life just enough lately to blog a little. I don't usually mention my life here, but I had a baby and then a job change, so it just wasn't possible to blog for a while. I still don't have as much time as I used to, but some things have gotten easier lately.

Most of my comrades have moved on to other activities, so while I look forward to new Cillian images as eagerly as you do, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up. Quetzaltlaloc might be able to do some photo collecting and archiving, but her job changed too, so she might not. So if anyone is interested in helping on a regular basis with photo archiving, that would mean this site could keep going in high style. Feel free to email about it: editors at cilliansite dot com.

Can't wait for this to get rolling, and I hope that some on-set images of Cillian manage to be leaked for us starving fans! Our man truly does need this role, and I am hoping for as much screen time as possible for him in it. He needs and deserves it.

By the way- good to see more frequent updates of the site lately!
