Rent Detectives today

Although the Watching the Detectives DVD is not scheduled to be released in North America until 12 August, Cillian fans living in the U.S. don't have to wait that long; the film is available to rent exclusively at Blockbuster right now. This exclusive rental DVD contains no special features and will likely not be the version that hits stores in August as Detectives' distributor, Peace Arch, features an alternate DVD cover on the film's page. We'll also keep you posted as to any news about the DVD's sales release, as the distributor currently lists the release date as 5 August.

Peacock cast additions

Variety has reported that Keith Carradine and Graham Beckel have joined the cast of Peacock. Veteran actor Carradine will be reuniting with his Pretty Baby co-star, Susan Sarandon, who has been cast as the wife of Peacock's mayor.

I rented the movie and did enjoy it. I can't say it was one of Cillian's best roles but he did make me laugh especially in the bathroom scene.
