First glimpse of Cillian in Peacock

Principal photography started today on Peacock: Sioux City's KTIV News Channel 4 reports that the production just kicked off a week of filming in small town Odebolt, Iowa, which has been transformed temporarily into fictional Peacock, Nebraska. The greatest treat, though, is that we get to see the first public footage of Cillian as John, the male side of his character's split personality. Admittedly, the video is brief and shot from a distance, but we can see that Cillian is sporting a clean cut look very appropriate for a nebbishy, small town bank teller.

We also learn a bit more about John, when producer Barry Mendel describes the film:

"It's the story of a bank clerk who is a very shy and rather invisible member of his community. He's a clerk at the bank and nobody really talks to him. He's kind of the strange guy, and he lives on the edge of town in the old family house by himself."

Peacock is expected to hit theaters in 2009, but Mendel gives us a little hope by suggesting that we could see this film at the end of the year. Let’s all cross our fingers!

Not everyone is allowed to be a user at Cillian's County, so if you really want everyone here to read your story, you should copy and paste it in.

Which Dark Knight trailer are you referring to? I've watched the HD version at http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809271891/video/7653651, but I don't see Crane/Scarecrow…

WOW! Loved that vid...him as Jonh...and Emma...it will be funny, scary and to outstanding!!!! And I havent imagine that lucky girl...Ellen Page with him...so lucky....

PD: Anyway, if you saw the new Dark Knight trailer, I will like to say a few things...Im fan of Cillian and I though seeing him on the second 00:27 and the minute 1:55 (I guess thats officer Gordon and not him...but if its him...wow!).
I just know that on sec 27, I KNOW ITS HIM! I saw that same scene on a video from the set...when they fight a gang...and the Scarecrow's Van run away later when a guy from Scarecrow's gang shoot at the other gang....I just wanted to tell you what I saw...judge for me if you think Im wrong...but I knew what I saw...

Thanks so much!! This is so exciting! To think that Cillian's actually in the States filming! He looks great even from a far. I do hope Peacock comes out at the end of this year -- I really miss seeing Cillian on the big screen. :*(

Anonymous, please tell us more! What did you chat with Cillian about?

And Kizuna, we haven't been able to find any evidence that "Dali and I" is filming except for IMDb, which is often wrong. It's a little weird -- I hope the project is still moving forward.
