Bamigboye on The Edge of Love

Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye has an article about Keira Knightley recording tracks for The Edge of Love soundtrack. Bamigboye mentions that he has seen the film and states, "I’m sure it’s going to be a contender at Cannes and at other film festivals this year." While he has high praise for the performances of both Knightley and Sienna Miller, he goes on to say, "All four leads are brilliant when the story darkens in Wales."

Hopefully we will be hearing a lot more about this film in the coming months.

Dark Knight and Ivy image updates

We've added a few more posters and an on location shot for The Dark Knight to our gallery, as well as one more shot from Cillian's outing to The Ivy in London. Enjoy!

Pssst: more catchup updates are coming soon.

Thank you Mariah M for all The Dark Knight images and Nairin78 for finding the Ivy shot!

Rukia: Really? A guy who liked the film?! Maybe he was into it because of Scarlett Johannsen and Natalie Portman! Hehe

Indeed, there's been quite a mixed review regarding The Other Boleyn Girl. For example, I'm at the extreme end of one spectrum (I absolutely hated it) while my friend (who's a guy nonetheless) is at other end (he absolutely loved it).

You should really see it if you want to, Nancy. Don't let my opinion stop you. We all have different opinions.

I TOTALLY agree with Rukia on The Edge of Love. Looks like a beautiful movie and it and The Dark Knight are the movies I want to see most this year. Keira and Cillian make a beautiful couple

Rukia: Really, The Other Boleyn Girl was that bad? Hmmm, well I did hear that it received some mixed reviews but I still wanted to see it. Oh well, guess I'll wait for the DVD to come out.

Thanks for the update! Out of all of Cillian's upcoming films, I am excited for The Edge of Love the most. I absolutely love period romances! Keira looks gorgeous in that picture from the article. This film really looks like it has potential - if the cinematography, direction, story, and acting all fall into place perfectly, I think it might have a good chance at an Oscar nomination. *crossing fingers* Hopefully, it will be up to par or even surpass the likes of some recent amazing period romances such as Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, and The Painted Veil - and be NOTHING like the absolutely horrible The Other Boleyn Girl. Ick. Sorry, don't mean to offend any fans of the film.

Great news! Hmmm, Keira singing? Sounds interesting. I don't know if I'm dying to see this though. Not really into historical period dramas, but we shall see come summertime. What I DO know is that I'm dying to see The Dark Knight. I seriously can't wait for that one.
