The paparazzi captured Cillian out and about in London, and ShowBiz.ie complains that his look isn't high fashion enough: they label it "Geography Teacher Chic." And because this actor doesn't aim to be a tabloid fixture or spend all his time and money on his clothes, they say he's self-involved with "a severe Corkonian grump on." Wow, the hometown press can be harsh, no?

A note about the site

I like the way Cillian dresses--he dresses like any normal, "non-metro" male does(he's totally rockin' the green "kicks"). I think the media may be more fascinated by Cillian because he doesn't put his personal life on display like some other actors do. If the media were to pay more attention to his acting, they will find something to be fascinated by. On the otherhand, it's always nice to see any new pics of Cillian(although it would be nice if it were a situation where he willingly wants his picture taken). Also, if that really is Yvonne in the background, I guess that's what the luckiest woman in the world looks like(sigh!).

Wish he was my geography teacher. He could wear whatever he wanted -- I wouldn't complain.

Still, I can understand why tabloid journalists/photographers might be upset with him. If all actors acted like him, their jobs wouldn't exist.

Looks like our Cillian had one too many! Is that his wife coming up behind him in the 3rd picture? Looks like her. Thanks so much for keeping this site alive! Would you like people to send in "stuff"(articles, trivia, pics etc) we find on the net regarding Cillian to help out?

huh??? I think he looks fine. I mean he's never had the greatest fashion sense but there is nothing terribly appalling about this outfit.

The picture descriptions are funny. What does this mean, "Cillian 'ye langer' Murphy"?
Although he seems to have a great sense of humor, he is deadly serious about some things.
Madra Rua, I'm thinking you're right about it being Yvonne. Same bone structure at least.

D'aww, I love teachers. I think Cillian would make a great geography teacher.

I see what they mean, but I personally like that outfit. I definetly prefer it over some of his other numbers (mainly the plain v neck shirts he tends to wear. I just don't like those). I think he's pretty classy.
