Detectives can be watched soon

At last, a little bit of Cillian news to report after the drought of the holidays! Folks in Southern California may want to make their way to the Palm Springs International Film Festival to see Watching the Detectives on 12 and 13 January. The rest of us won't have to wait too much longer: as we reported on 28 September, Peach Arch was "eyeing a Valentine's Day release," and now ComingSoon.net and IMDb are both reporting that 14 February is indeed the date for the movie's limited release. Hopefully, it won't be too limited.

New Disco Pigs DVD

HighDefDigest.com reports that Disco Pigs is being reissued in a high definition DVD format on 25 March. I certainly hope it works better than the last Vanguard edition of Disco Pigs—I returned two different DVDs with the same error, and I know other fans had the same problem. But it will be nice to have an HD version instead.

2001 Cillian film at MoMA

New Yorkers can see How Harry Became a Tree at the Museum of Modern Art on 17, 18, and 26 January. Here's a chance to see this lesser-known gem in a theater!
