Living near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex? Lucky you—you'll get a chance to see Watching the Detectives before the rest of us! It's part of the Lone Star Film Festival, and Christopher Kelly of the Star-Telegram says its one of the five films "that have most piqued my interest."

Earlier that same day, director Paul Soter is scheduled to appear on the panel Directing My First Feature alongside Blake Calhoun, Fred Durst, Jason Sinclair Long, and Steve Berra. If you manage to attend and hear any anecdotes about what it was like filming with Cillian, please .

Detectives is also part of the American Independent program at the Stockholm International Film Festival. It's screening on 11 November, 23 November, and 25 November.

Sunshine DVD in North America

Details about Sunshine's Region 1 DVD were released earlier this week. The significant difference from the U.K. version is that there's no mention of a commentary by Brian Cox. There also seems to be a difference in the number of web diaries and deleted scenes; however, this may simply be how they're counted, as U.K. sites don't always agree on the numbers on the U.K. version. We'll know for sure on 8 January when the DVD finally comes out!

I live in Dallas and hadn't even heard of this!! You've made my weekend!! Detectives plays at 9pm on Saturday night, and I just now bought my ticket. thank you thank you! :-)))

Oh great that there are european film festivals interested in "Watching the Detectives". This means there will be a chance that it will be released in theatres near me. I'm looking forward to see the great on screen couple Liu/Murphy.

ok. Seriously. It would make sense to release Sunshine for the holiday season. That way people will buy it as gifts. I personally would buy myself Cillian for Christmas. I don't care if I have to pay for him lol. I want him to be mine! :P
