Since even before the The Dark Knight started filming in Chicago, there's been speculation about the reappearance of Dr. Crane and his alter-ego, Scarecrow. Today, over at the IMDb discussion board, are two pictures that strongly hint that our favourite villain might be back. Liz, who tipped us off to these pictures, says:

I can't confirm that they're real, but I can confirm that the film was shooting at a parking garage yesterday (I passed the set on my walk to work).

Whether or not that's actually Cillian or just a body double in the mask, this bodes well for Scarecrow fans who want to see him back causing trouble for the Caped Crusader!

Edited to add: Cinematical is now also reporting this rumour, and saying it is indeed Cillian. Their source? An on-the-scene observer. Warning: These links contain spoilers!

Ooooh! scarecrow is back!!! I just saw the pictures over at ucillian.com of him and a fan and some other blurry set pics:)

heh, that poster makes keira's and cillian's eyebrows look connected, which i find very silly.

OMG that poster totally looks like the movie 'Closer'.... as for the Scarecrow comin back, all I can say is HOORAAYYYY!!!

I seem to be having only good news about actors today(hopefully going to see the cast of Heroes in august!)

Ok, I've officially set it up with a friend and cousin--we'll be there tomorrow night, and I'll report back with what I see! Yay! :)
