More Moscow Sunshine premiere photos

Last month, Cillian attended the Russian premiere of Sunshine, along with the whole Sunshine posse. I've just added six new photos to the end of our Moscow gallery page. My favorite is this pic of Cillian and his supposed doppelgänger, the film's science advisor Dr. Brian Cox.

Did you ever notice how Cillian always stands back as far as possible when doing panels? Danny Boyle has noted that he even does this on film:

"He's quite modest as a person, and he has to be pushed into the centre... He kind of turns away from the camera. I saw him doing that in the Ken Loach film as well. He has to be eased in there and that's really appealing. It stops it being too obviously heroic."

Nope, Cox and Cilly look nothing alike. Both are good-looking; but Cillian is a lot more refined-looking, and he is shorter. You know, Dr. Cox supposedly offered Cillian a post as a PhD student in his lab!! Don't know whether that was a real offer or not.

That was an amazingly cruddy suit on Cox in those photos, btw. It did absolutely nothing for him.

Yeah, i dont get the similarity between him and Brian Cox. Brian is extremely toothy and i dont find him anything more than slightly sweetlooking.Cillian is to die for!:)
I'm sooo glad he doesn't have an ego and puts his family before everything else.suuuch an admirable person in the business!

I totally agree, Claudia. In an industry that almost requires that actors have outsized egos just to make it, Cillian doesn't seem to have that.

He is a reluctant hero. You gotta love his modest approach to everything he does. It seems like Cillian doesn't take himself too seriously and that's a remarkable quality, I think. How often do you see that in this business? I Love him for that

i've noticed that already, he's just lovely! i can imagine him as the shy boy in my class ^_^ whom misterously ended up being my boyfriend haahaha too much information i know hahahah...

why is he so bueutiful? ...and talented... i cant stop enjoying his magic blue eyes and all about him.... he's so perfect!
im very sleepy today because last night was 28 days... on TV and i couldn't miss it hehehehe
