Newsflash: Sienna Miller on board for Best Time

Variety just reported that Indie/It Girl Sienna Miller will take over the role vacated by Lindsay Lohan on Cillian's next film, The Best Time of Our Lives. Lohan ditched the role of Dylan Thomas's wife, Caitlin MacNamara, just as shooting was set to start, but the American-born English actor Miller, star of Factory Girl, fashion, and the tabloids, is stepping in to save the day.

A star taking over the role seems like good news for the production, but let's just hope that the 25-year-old doesn't go insulting the Welsh towns where they're shooting. Shitsburgh Pittsburgh wasn't too happy with her insults. I imagine she's learned her lesson!

FYI Kayla, I read yesterday that they're filming in London first, starting next week, then moving on to Wales.

hey lilth :) thanks for the info :) i will definately tell you everything if i happen to catch a glimps of the brillance that is cillian! lol so glad that they are filming in swansea! cant believe it :) iv read some of the stories people left of watching the detectives, and im hoping i get the same oppertunity :) thanks so much for the info :) wish me luck haha xx

Kayla, you're in luck! IMDb lists several locations:

and one of them is Swansea! If you happen to get a chance to catch any of the filming, we'd love to hear an account of what you saw. We have some great stories from fans who caught a day on the set of Watching the Detectives and we're always eager for more!

does anybody know where 'best time' is being filmed? im from swansea in south wales [where dylan thomas is from] and was wondering are they going to be filming in swanesa? im a huge cillian fan and love his movies! hes awesome! such a tremendous actor, so would love to know where they're filming. any info? lol much love kayla xx

Not crazy about Sienna either, but I feel more positive about her than La Lohan. I just hope it helps Cillian get the recognition in his career that he deserves!

Hm,i'm not impressed but anything is better than Lindsay so i guess its fine.I just think Sienna is very overrated and not anything special. Still, at least they're going to be starting filming soon:)

Well, at least Sienna has something going on for her as Caitlin. Plus she actually has an English accent. The combination of Lindsay's gravely voice and a Welsh accent's going to give me head aches.

I'll probably only rent this on DVD though.

Good news,thanks.I personally prefer Sienna. She is actually a trained actor, though her performance is not very stable, but she deserves expectation. I like her Nikki on Alfie.
