Barley's U.S. release dates
N.Y.C, L.A., Boston, and a few other lucky cities finally get The Wind That Shakes the Barley on Friday, and the regrettably limited release begins hitting selected theatres throughout March, April, and May. Check IFC Films.com for all release date info.
Sunshine dates and pics
Shhh... before the Sunshine Blog's Gia had to take down the list of Sunshine's international release dates, I plugged them into The CillianSite Calendar. So unless we are asked to remove them, you can find them here!

Star-Ledger ...and Perez Hilton?!?
Today's Star-Ledger has a Barley-focused article on Cillian with some nice Loach-Murphy commentary on each other and the process. Cillian hits many of his usual themes, but this one kicks off with a pithy quip:
"Success isn't employment, but a lot of actors confuse the two. For me, success isn't how often you work, but the quality of work. I think if ... you have other interests and you're able to kick around the house for a bit and wait for the right thing, that's good."
Speaking of differing indices of success, here's one measure of Cillian's fame: a fairly idiotic Perez Hilton "Guess That Pucker" appearance. Apparently, Cillian may die if not issued lip balm forthwith.
