PR Inside just ran a hilarious little bit that makes it sound like Watching The Detectives is a done deal. Let the public relations-enhanced flirting begin!
Actor Cillian Murphy can't wait to teach his sexy new co-star Lucy Liu about Irish drinking habits when he takes her on a boozy night out. The pair star together in upcoming romantic comedy Watching The Detectives and Murphy admits he couldn't wait to meet the Charlie's Angels beauty. And although they hit it off immediately, Murphy is desperate to show off his infamous Irish alcohol tolerance and treat her to a night on the town. He says, "She's lovely and a very good actress. We've already hung out a bit in New York. I haven't been drinking with her yet though. That could be interesting."
Indeed, someone posted on Gawker.com that they spotted Cillian in NYC in May. The May 12th Gawker Stalker entry reads,
Saw the Scarecrow himself, Cillian Murphy, with a blond girl on 14th and 8th Ave. Much slighter than you'd expect in person…and tough to recognize bundled up in a blue wool sweater and black skinny jeans (in this weather?), but the cheekbones/eyes/lips were a dead give-away. I swear, his eyes glowed through his sunglasses.
