A new Cillian sci-fi movie has been announced!

Time Out (London) is reporting that Cillian has signed to do—surprise!—another science fiction film, called Telepathy. Nathalie Press, the protagonist from the astounding My Summer of Love, also recently seen in the Bleak House miniseries, will be the other lead. The writer is Stephen Volk; I'm not familiar with his work, but he's the creator of the UK TV series, Afterlife.

Here's a brief synopsis, as described by reporter Chris Tilly:

The film tells the story of estranged identical twin brothers Josef and Viktor Zalenski. Reunited by the Russian government, they become the subject of top secret telepathic experiments in an effort to establish contact with outer space.

Looks like Cillian will be playing twin brothers, perhaps with a Russian accent—now, there's a nice acting challenge!

ComingSoon.net reports that the fine actors Miranda Richardson and Sam Neill will also star. Shooting starts in October.
