The Wind That Shakes the Barley premieres at Cannes

I'm happily drowning in news about The Wind That Shakes the Barley! Here's the best of what I've found so far:

The official Cannes site has posted video footage for both the Barley photo call and press conference.

If you're not somewhere you can view video, there's an excellent BBC feature with reporting from the press conference which quotes Cillian:

I am tremendously proud of this film. I knew that if anyone could tell this story it would be Ken Loach. The memories run very very deep—the politics, the divisions and everybody has stories of family members who were caught up in the struggle.

A positive, if not 100% enthusiastic, review is at The Hollywood Reporter. Ray Bennett accurately notes, "With his poet's cheekbones and blue eyes, Murphy makes a fine romantic hero."

Thanks to LiveJournal's tanya1976 for the video tip
