This past February, Dublin kicked off its 11th annual Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) with a showing of Broken. Lucky fans were able to take pictures with and get autographs from Cillian as he walked the red carpet. JDIFF, which runs for 11 days, gave Cillian a chance to honor his Broken co-star Tim Roth and present him with a Volta, which is the Festival's crowning achievement award. While the presentation allowed Cillian to speak eloquently about Roth's acting talent, Roth returned the compliment declaring Cillian "one of THE great actors working today." You can view more photos from the premiere here.

While in town, Cillian could be found walking about the streets, and stopping in at places, such as The Factory to talk to others involved in Irish arts, such as Irish film director, Jim Sheridan.

As she is working her way through his vast filmography, she has come up with a list of her so-far top five favorite scenes and has asked if she can share with the rest of us fans. I'm happy to share her favorites and I encourage you to share yours either via email or in the comments!
#5 Perrier's Bounty, Fight with Shamie

I've always loved the way Cillian puts some aggression into his roles. I'm like enchanted by his voice and appearance at such moments. In Perrier's Bounty his character has a lot of rage, especially the scene where he demands Shamie to break off the ties with Brenda because he's chasing others girls. After a couple of moments Shamie wants to hit him but Michael overpowers him. But the way he does that and how he speaks is too hot to put in words. I replayed that scene at least 5 times. Well done, Cillian!

#4 Intermission, Standing up against Mr. Henderson

It is actually two scenes. The first scene was throwing the peas against his head and didn't care. What it finished, was the fact that he just climbed on top of the check-out tables and everybody like cherished him for taking down Mr. Henderson. He was so happy and careless, it was just marvelous! And then when he's asked to the office to talk about his punishment: he just couldn't care less. He just said 'f*ck you' to everything. That Cillian made the most out of it and I couldn't love it more.

#3 Red Eye, You're my business

His transformation from being the sweet, noble gentleman to the dark, evil bad-ass, is absolutely breathtaking; it's hot and villainy at the same time! Especially that particular line ablazed me. What's best is that like he swings between those two faces. Then he smooth-talks the stewardesses if they think something's wrong and then the next moment he's threatening Lisa. I fall in love with him all over again when he does that. Cillian really did Jackson Rippner justice.

#2 The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Execution Chris

I absolutely loved the entire film, every scene with Cillian was marvelous. But the scene that really hit me, the scene that made me realize how brilliant Cillian really is, was the scene where he had to execute his friend Chris. You just could see the tears in his eyes. Especially the line: 'I'll protect ya'. Kill me, that was so emotional. It threw me right out of my chair! And then the way he just walks away after the shot. Flawless, just flawless.

#1 Disco Pigs, Where is she mom?

Firstly, in my opinion Cillian was absolutely adorable as Pig and once again this film was magnificent, I cried so many times. It was far beyond my expectations. And that line, for me, showed his vulnerability and love and passion for this girl. It was absolutely one of my favorite and most beautiful moments of that film. It was so emotional that I really shed a tear. It really showed off Cillian's brilliant talent. Not many actors can pull off that role so beautifully. For once the word phenomenal is an understatement.
