Synopsis:
In this sequel to Batman Begins, the comic book hero (Christian Bale) has organized crime on the run, with the help of his ally in law enforcement, Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and the new D.A., Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), until the arrival of nihilist mad criminal genius The Joker (Heath Ledger). In an early sequence, Cillian Murphy reprises his Batman Begins role as the Scarecrow in a barely-there cameo.
Cast also includes Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine.
Of Note:
Cillian is onscreen so little that he only has 8 lines, and 7 of them are delivered from underneath the burlap sack Scarecrow mask. His face isn't even seen until the very end of the 3-minute sequence he appears in, for about only 15 seconds.
